Carol Bergmann, Au. D., CCC-A
Carol Bergmann, Au.D., CCC-A, has many years of experience in the field of Audiology working with adults, pediatrics, and our amazing Veterans. She has worked in a variety of settings throughout her career. Dr. Bergmann performed Speech Therapy in Europe with the US military schools for four years before getting her Masters in Audiology.
Her audiology experience has included working at St. Louis University ENT Department as a clinical audiologist and Director of Audiology, Park Central Institute, at a private ENT office as an audiologist, and Director of Audiology, at the VA. She has also worked with Special School District, helping provide hearing aids to the hearing-impaired population. Dr. Bergmann had the honor of teaching at Washington University in the Audiology Department.
In 1997, Dr. Bergmann opened and managed Hearing Health Care Center, which has proudly served the St. Louis area for 20+ years. Carol and Hearing Health Care have recently partnered with Mid America Audiology Group and the combined team is excited to extend excellent care to all patients in the St. Louis and Illinois areas.
Carol grew up in Texas and moved to Columbia, MO to obtain her Masters in Health Sciences. She then acquired her Doctorate of Audiology from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences. Carol’s passion is helping people and families enjoy the sounds of life through improved communication. In her spare time, Carol enjoys being with her family, including her five grandchildren, boating, and traveling as much as possible.
